Parenting A Child - Difference Between Adopted and Biological Parenting

One important thing, if you take away anything from this podcast, is this, parenting an adopted child has the same two factors as any other type of parenting a child; you have a parent and a child. And we’re going to learn throughout this podcast that, when you’re parenting a child that was adopted at birth, the significant difference in parenting that child versus parenting a child that is biologically yours is going to be what you add in, not what you take away. And other than you and I go over and reinforce what is actual versus what is a myth. We’re like the myth busters, and that was a great show, by the way. https://azpregnancyhelp.com/baby-for-adoption-birth-mother-matters-in-adoption-episode-75-misunderstanding-about-adoption/

So, a birth mother may encounter grief when she feels like her family and friends don’t support her adoption choice. I have been working with birth moms for almost 16 years, and I’m also the daughter of a birth mother. https://azpregnancyhelp.com/adoption-choice-birth-mother-matters-in-adoption-episode-74-finding-peace-in-uncharted-waters/
