One important thing, if you take away anything from this podcast, is this, parenting an adopted child has the same two factors as any other type of parenting a child; you have a parent and a child. And we’re going to learn throughout this podcast that, when you’re parenting a child that was adopted at birth, the significant difference in parenting that child versus parenting a child that is biologically yours is going to be what you add in, not what you take away. We’re like the myth busters, and that was a great show, by the way. https://azpregnancyhelp.com/baby-for-adoption-birth-mother-matters-in-adoption-episode-75-misunderstanding-about-adoption/

And I thought we would talk a little bit about that and what it looks like when they reach the final acceptance stage. So, a birth mother may encounter grief when she feels like her family and friends don’t support her adoption choice. I have been working with birth moms for almost 16 years, and I’m also the daughter of a birth mother. https://azpregnancyhelp.com/adoption-choice-birth-mother-matters-in-adoption-episode-74-finding-peace-in-uncharted-waters/
